    If we had to choose a day to visit Seville, it would certainly be Monday. Why the Monday is the perfect day to visit monuments and museums of Seville? Well because it's free! Eh so you could start the week by saving some pennies.

    The question is alone get organized well. Since almost all of Seville's most famous monuments have free admission on Monday afternoons, you have to choose a couple. It would be impossible to visit the Cathedral and Real Alcázar for free on the same day, as the free hours are practically the same. So you choose, also depending on availability of course.



    As you can see, the tickets for some of these places of interest need to be booked to have free admission. Especially in the 2 monuments mentioned above (Cathedral and Real Alcázar), free tickets run out quickly. So if you find availability for one of these places, book it now, and maybe you will visit the other by paying the normal entrance ticket for another day. But in any case you would have already saved!

    Seville Monuments and Museums Free

    The Cathedral and the Giralda

    Free admission on Mondays from 16:30 pm to 18:00 pm.



    Important! For the free visit you must book online. The free visit includes the audio guide. The maximum number of people who can enter for free on Mondays is 70. So we advise you to make your reservation as soon as possible.

    • Normal price for the visit: € 9 (Audio guide € 3).
    • Approximate duration of the visit: 2 hours.

    Real Alcazar

    Free admission on Mondays:

    • From April to September from 18:00 to 19:00.
    • From October to March from 16:00 to 17:00.

    Important! To be able to take the free visit you must book online Admission is free but at the time of booking you will have to pay 1 € per person for internet booking.

    The golden tower

    Free admission on Mondays from 9:30 am to 18:45 pm.

    To visit the Torre del Oro for free on Mondays, it is not necessary to book. This day of the week admission is free and free throughout the day.

    The Maestranza Bullring

    Free visit on Mondays from 15:00 to 19:00.

    The free visit of the lunedì to the Plaza de Toros de Sevilla it cannot be booked online. You have to go to the ticket office a little before 15:00 and once you get there, they will make you book your visit within the free time. We recommend arriving a little early as there is a maximum number of free tickets, and if you don't go before 15pm, you risk not finding them anymore. Visits are made every 20 minutes.

    The Casa Pilatos

    Free admission on Mondays from 15:00 am to 19:00 pm.

    Free admission on Mondays to Casa Pilatos it cannot be booked online. You have to go to the ticket office before 15:00 to get the free ticket. The maximum number of visitors is also limited here. So we recommend that you go as soon as possible.


    • Normal price for the visit: complete house € 12 - Ground floor only € 10.
    • Approximate duration of the visit: 1 hour.

    The Palace of Las Dueñas

    Free admission on Mondays:


    • April to September - 16pm to 00pm (ticket office closes 19 pm).
    • From October to March - 16:00 to 18:00 (ticket office closes at 17:15 pm).

    The free visit to the Palace of Las Dueñas it is not possible to book in advance. Free admission can be obtained by going to the ticket office from 16:00 on Monday. There is a limited number, so you have to queue a little earlier.

    • Normal price for the visit: 10 €.
    • Approximate duration of the visit: 1 hour.

    The Palace of the Countess of Lebrija

    Free admission on Mondays at 18pm and 00pm.

    It is not possible to book in advance the free visit to the Palace of the Countess of Lebrija. To get free admission you have to go to the ticket office on Mondays, from 10:30 am to book the visit for the same day.

    • Normal price: only ground floor 5 €; complete palace € 12 (includes guided tour on the first floor).
    • Approximate duration of the visit: 1 hour.

    The General Archive of the Indies

    Free admission always without reservation.

    El Archivo General de Indias can be visited free of charge every day.

    The opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 15:00 (from 16 September to 15 June) and until 14:30 (from 16 June to 15 September).

    • Approximate duration of the visit: 1 hour.

    The Palace of San Telmo

    Free admission always with reservation.

    El Palacio de San Telmo is the seat of the Government of Andalusia and can be visited for free by booking in advance. To make a reservation you must give the visitor's name, an email address, a telephone number and the tax code number.

    The Museum of Popular Arts and Customs

    Free admission always without reservation.

    Schedule:

    • From 30 June to 31 August: Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 15:00.
    • From 1st September to 30th June: Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 00pm. Sundays and holidays from 21:00 to 9:00.
    • Monday closed.

    Even just from the outside, the Museum deserves to be seen. It is a beautiful building in the Mudéjar style.

    El Monastery of the Cartuja


    Free admission from Tuesday to Friday from 19:00 to 21:00 and on Saturdays from 11:00 to 21:00.

    The Monasterio della Cartuja has been declared a national monument and today is the seat of the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo. It is possible to visit it for free at the times mentioned above. No reservation needed.

    • Normal price for complete visit: 3 €.

    The Museum of Fine Arts

    Free admission always

    Schedule:

    • Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 00pm.
    • Sundays and holidays from 9:00 to 15:00.
    • Closed: Mondays. 1 and 6 January, 1 May and 24, 25 and 31 December.

    El Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla is the second art gallery in Spain, after El Museo del Prado de Madrid. You will be able to contemplate works by Murillo, Velázquez, Zurbarán and many other artists.

    The Hospital de los Venerables

    Free admission on Sundays from 14pm to 00pm.

    El Hospital de los Venerables is the headquarters of the Velázquez Center, dedicated to the painter Diego Velázquez. You can visit it for free on Sundays, without booking.

    • General admission price: € 5,50.
    • Address: Plaza Venerables, 8.
     

    14. Moroccan Pavilion at Expo'92

    Free guided tour on Tuesdays at 11:00 with reservation.

    To make the free visit (in Spanish) you must book by filling out this form. In each form you can book for a maximum of 4 people. The maximum number of visitors every Tuesday is 30.

    If you are interested in getting to know the Pabellón de Marruecos (Sede de las Tres Culturas) and you cannot go on a Tuesday, the foundation has a personalized booking service, in the sense that you can choose the time and date to make the visit. The price is € 50 (from 1 to 15 people) or € 100 (groups of 15 to 30 people). The languages ​​available are Spanish, English and French.

    The Plaza de España and Parco de María Luisa

    Free visit always.

    We have decided to include Plaza de España in this list because in our opinion it is one of the most beautiful wonders that can be visited in Seville. If you have any doubts that you have to pay, don't worry, the square is open every day from 8:00 to 22:00 completely free. We also recommend that you visit the park next to it, the “Parque de María Luisa”, with its fountains and beautiful spaces. Here is the Museum we talked about in point 10 and it's free!
